Once you have bought the number plate you want. You will receive confirmation via email. They will also send the certificate of entitlement to you by post. You should receive this within 2 weeks.
The certificate is your proof of purchase. It is also the application form to get the number plate put on your vehicle.
If you bought your registration at an auction. Then you will receive your certificate of entitlement within 2 weeks, in the post.
You must get the registration number placed on your vehicle, before the expiry date stated on the certificate of entitlement.
